About Fallbrook
Fallbrook provides a unique quality of life--a community an hour
north of downtown San Diego yet far away from the city life. The
charm of Fallbrook is expressed in its views of rolling green
hills dotted with avocado and citrus orchards.
Finding Fallbrook
Fallbrook is an unincorporated area of San Diego County,
about 18 miles east of Oceanside via Hwy 76 and 10 miles south
of Temecula via I-15. The heart of Fallbrook is the downtown
area with shops, restaurants, businesses and services spreading
out from Main Street.
Happiness is a short commute
There is no fact as keenly felt as the affect of population
growth on California commuters. The escalating cost of homes
close to urban centers has pushed employees working in San
Diego, San Bernardino or Los Angeles counties to purchase homes
in the relatively less expensive areas of Temecula and Murrietta
in Riverside County.

FALLBROOK'S FUTURE
 |
 |
San Diego County proposes
a new city in Pala Mesa Valley changing existing zoning
law for approximately 600 rural homes into high density
apartments, condos and commercial space. |
 |
 |
County estimates for
increased traffic at I-15/Interstate 76 exceed 100,000
car trips per day and 3,600 heavy trucks per day to
serve this new city, the approved new County dump and
rock quarry, Indian gaming and planned traffic impacts
from Riverside County. |
 |
|
This totals approximately
150 additional cars and trucks per minute, with NO major
road improvements mandated or existing monies allocated
for road improvements. |
